Show and tell helps us to build our oral language. We have been
working hard to describe the things we bring. We try to use our WOW words so
it’s more interesting for our audience. So instead of saying something is big,
we use words like huge or enormous.

Hiwi the Kiwi
Today we had a visit from Hiwi the Kiwi. It was hilarious! We sung
lots of songs about fish sustainability or how to be responsible when we fish
so that there’s more fish for everyone.
We learned:
- To always wear a life jacket when we are out in a boat
- That we need a fish ruler so we don’t catch fish that are too
little or too big.
- We need to have a damp towel when we handle fish so they are
protected.
- There are things called flares that are like big firecrackers
that you can let off if you need help at school.
